The Casio CGP-700 compact grand digital piano has players abuzz, boasting unique features that really stand out from the crowd. So just what can you expect from the CGP-700? Read on to find out!
Powerful Features, Versatile Design
As Casio continues to push the limits of digital piano technology, their digital piano models just keep getting better--and the CGP-700 is no exception! Here are a few features that stood out to us on this compact grand piano.
The Grand Piano Experience - The Grand Piano sound on the CGP-700 was recorded with over two dozen microphones, giving a smooth dynamic range and providing authentic damper resonance. A tri-sensor scaled hammer action keyboard and textured keys gives a realistic playing experience, with a heavier feel in the lower register, and a lighter feel up top.
Compact Design with Easily-detachable stand - Weighing in at just over 26 lbs without the stand, the CGP-700 is built for portability. Unlike typical furniture-style digital piano stands, the stand that comes with the CGP-700 piano detaches easily to transform it into the ideal stage piano. Talk about convenience!
Versatile Speaker Options - The built-in 6-speaker system on the CGP-700 features a cabinet can be reversed to face the player or audience, making the piano equally suited for performances and practice sessions at home. These speakers are embedded in a sleek, modern panel that sits under the piano, giving the CGP-700 a sleek look that will be at home in modern studio and performance spaces.
Crisp 5.3" color touch interface - This large, touch-responsive screen allows you to explore the CGP-700's features quickly and easily. This makes it easier than ever to fine tune your tone or call up rhythm sections! A "Grand Piano" button lets you switch back to the brilliant grand piano sound instantly, and nearby Transpose buttons allow you to quickly shift to a different key.
Create and Arrange - Experiment with hundreds of tones and rhythms to create a complete ensemble that reacts to how you play. Dial in effects like reverb, chorus and damper noise to fine-tune your sound for different genres and songs. When you're done, record easily and connect to your computer or other devices using MIDI or USB out.
Educational Features - Duet Mode splits the keyboard into two equal ranges, allowing two people to play side by side on one instrument. An additional Classroom Mode splits the keyboard and configures the CGP-700 audio outputs to work with third party piano lab systems. The CGP-700 also comes with two headphone outputs for silent practice sessions, making it perfect for students and teachers alike.
