      The uke is very nice and arrived in excellent condition. The hard case seems to be of very good quality.
      I am very happy with my purchase from Austin Bazaar and I would purchase from them again.

      My First Ukulele – Nailed It Right Out of the Gate

      The KALA KA-TEM Exotic Mahogany Tenor Ukulele is the first ukulele I've ever owned. I agonized over size, manufacturer, construction, price for about a month. I looked at Amazon and other sellers. I read descriptions and watched reviews. Then I finally pulled the trigger with this one. As I write this review (I haven't written one before this) I'm thinking of stuff to say that I'm not thrilled with—sort of a bad news first approach. The only thing I've got to say negative wise is that the side markers for the fret board are just paint dots. Other than that I absolutely adore this instrument. Yep, it's veneer, but it's thin and sounds fantastic. The wood on the outside is so pretty, the construction is flawless, the tuners and strings hold tuning like mad, the tenor size is perfect for me, a larger guy. It's neat and tidy inside. I really couldn't be happier with my decision. One day I may purchase a solid wood ukulele, but until I get good enough to justify the expense I am more than satisfied with my Kala!!
