A Great Deal!
I bought this ukulele for y daughter as part of the "deluxe package" so it came with a hard case and tuner. What a great deal I got!
This is her 2nd ukulele and she loves the look and sound of this brand. The hot pink color is not quite so "hot" as the picture but is perfect for someone who likes pink.
The strings that came with it are white not black (as shown) but not a big deal- the sounds is nice- and after a few days of stretching they stay in tune for longer period of time. (She told me there's "breaking-in" period that strings go through.)
The case is what makes this deluxe package so great. It's a hard case, with detachable strap and rubber nubs on the bottom so it protects the instrument really well. The inside is totally padded to fit the ukulele, and has a small storage area for tuner/cleaning cloth, picks, etc. I have not found a case anywhere nearly this good for under $40.
I'm told the tuner did not work very well but we have a few Snarks that she uses.
All in all a great value and beautiful looking and sounding ukulele.
